The project is being developed by Boralex, in the UK previously known as Infinergy, a renewable energy company developing onshore wind farms in the UK, France, the United States and Canada. In 2022 Infinergy became part of Boralex and now operates under the name Boralex. The company has in-house expertise and experience needed to design, develop, build and operate wind energy developments. For example, in 2011 Infinergy achieved planning consent for the 59-turbine, 177MW Dorenell Wind Farm near Dufftown, now constructed, owned and operated by EDF Renewables. We are committed to helping meet renewable targets in the UK, whilst developing responsibly and delivering optimal power output. We work with Councils, statutory consultees and local communities to ensure that only the best proposals are put forward. Boralex is a member of trade organisations RenewableUK and Scottish Renewables.
